I had to do a discussion thinks week on other "fire givers" that students chose. I picked two people I thought that they posted that were good fire givers. I chose Anne Frank for one, who I feel was a fire giver because she was so optimistic in times of great tragedy in her life. She managed to be a quote unquote a normal teenager, even though her who life had been threatened with just the possibility of being taken away from all. I also chose the Wright brothers. I chose them because their fire gift to the world was the gift of flight. Without them, I couldn't get to my family in as little as an hour and a half. I believe this was a good discussion because it helped me to understand the different fire gifts people can give, and I hope to one day be someone other than my children's fire gift....
